To all invited athlets
Firstly, we are very pleased you were invited to participate in the ARONA International Chess Festival, to be held in Arona, Tenerife – Spain from 22 to 30 June 2024.
Secondly, if you need an inviatation letter for you VISA to Spain, please inform us asap.
Last but not least, in order to confirm your participation, please send your airline ticket (not flight reservation) to arona_chess_club@gmx.com by May 30th, 2024. After this deadline, we will not be able to guarantee your participation in the tournament.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURES
Expected arrival: June 21, 2024 after 3:00 PM (athletes will be responsible for early arrival charges).
Expected departure: July 1, 2024 before 10:00 AM (athletes will be responsible for late departure charges).
Failure to Attend the Tournament
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we are committed to providing flexibility to our invited athletes. However, we ask that you notify us of any absences as soon as possible.
Financial assistance requirement: What you need to know?
In order to be eligible for financial assistance, you must demonstrate exemplary behavior throughout the tournament. This includes being punctual for all games, respecting your opponents, and following the tournament rules.
