GM Abhijeet Gupta: a role model for young chess player

Abhijeet Gupta started playing chess at the age of 7 and achieved the FIDE Master title at the age of 12. He is a talented and tenacious player who never gives up. His victory at the Orillas de Mar tournament is a testament to that.
Abhijeet started the tournament with a loss in the second round.
Immediately after his loss he was approached by the tournament organizer, who asked him what had happened. The Indian GrandMaster smiled and shrugged, showing no sign of anger or nervousness. This demonstrated his great composure and ability to stay focused even in the most difficult situations.
Moreover, he didn’t give up. Instead, he went on a winning streak that took him to the top of the leaderboard.
Abhijeet’s victory at the Orillas de Mar tournament is an example of perseverance and intelligence. To sum up, Abhijeet is a true champion, not only for his chess skills, but also for his always cheerful, positive, and polite character.
And most importantly, he is an example for all young chess players and an inspiration to everyone who knows him.
